Robert Trsek studied painting and graphic design at the University of Arts Linz and philosophy at the University of Klagenfurt. Since graduating in 1985, he has worked as a painter and graphic designer. In addition, his practice encompasses curation, writing and designing stamps and medals for the Austrian Post. Trsek has been awarded several prizes for his work and has been widely exhibited in Austria and abroad. In 2010, he founded the Galerie Kontur in Vienna. Trsek is a member of the artists’ association Kunstverein Kärnten and lives in Himmelberg in Carinthia.
