The exhibition Echoes of Light brings together, for the first time, selected works from the Renner-Lanjus Collection with pieces by contemporary artist Friedrich Biedermann. The presentation spans a historical arc through Austrian Modernism and the Avant-garde, setting them in an open dialogue with contemporary art.

On the 26th of June, the Renner-Lanjus Collection invited guests to the newly renovated premises of the Stiegenhaus to present the works of one of the most exciting contemporary artists. Neither severe storm warnings nor extreme heat could keep visitors from experiencing the large-format works of internationally renowned painter Markus Bacher.
